Comentários: Easy way to keep track of resources for scheduling, planning and project purposes
Vantagens:
Ease of use and simple , effective visualization of scheduled resources
Desvantagens:
Needed to integrate with Harvest to get full picture of time actually spent on projects rather than just time scheduled

Comentários: Resource Guru is a great tool when you need to schedule multiple resources. It is easy to use, does not require any software installation and is a very good tool.
Vantagens:
Easy to set up, use and implement. Great value for money and super customer support. Integrates with outlook.
Desvantagens:
Mobile solution could be better. It works fine, but could be improved.
An adequate calendaring tool for resource management
Comentários: We use Resource Guru to manage the utilization/booking of our research facilities. This works well for us as we have a small number of facilities we manage. I cannot offer a recommendation for/against this project for large numbers of resources (>10) as it might be cumbersome at that point. For our limited resource pool, it works well.
Vantagens:
The interface is simple to use and understand with respect to resource availability and conflict. It serves its purpose well.
Desvantagens:
New feature rollout is buggy. When I switched between the "beta" ("new") experience back to the classic, I received a nagging email from the company telling me I had recently logged in using the "classic" experience and it would eventually be discontinued, and that I should try out the "new" experience. This product is basically a shared calendar, and while it offers reporting that is a hybrid somewhere between Microsoft Outlook and Project, it's a bit too pushy with respect to new features.

Hi Steve Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on Resource Guru! I'm sorry that you felt our message regarding the new schedule was a bit pushy or potentially buggy. We needed to share this message because the old schedule will shortly be retired, and we didn't want people to be taken by surprise by that. As long as you click the cross to close the message, it won't reappear for you. I also wanted to take the opportunity to reassure you about the new schedule. It's a vast improvement on the old one - it's been completely rebuilt from the ground up to provide lightning fast scheduling, infinite scrolling, lots of enhancements including elastic overtime, and it's just as stable for incredibly large teams as it is for very small ones. Manage your Resources with Guru
Comentários: Honestly, despite being a work tool, sometimes it felt like a game and it is incredibly satisfying to use it. Very feel softwares feel that intimate or that nice to use.
Vantagens:
Fore forecasting tools offered by Resource Guru are fantastic. It is easy to use and it is very interactive.
Desvantagens:
It just gets to a point where if the business grows too much, it feels like Resource Guru isn't able to handle it as well as some of the competitors. The Scalability they offer could be better.

Resource Guru is a very easy to use and intuitive tool, nice UI, easy filtering, able to see both planned and actually spent time on projects with easy reports on billable utilization. Everything a small to mid, even greater teams in number need for a hassle free planning and reporting on projects.
Desvantagens:
nothing so far. The tool has delivered up to team's expectations so far.

Vantagens:
It's quick to learn and has powerful tools, is simple to use and integrated quickly into our existing work practices. All our staff are adept at using it and it helps us keep on top of resources, projects and workflow. It is good value for money.
Desvantagens:
No complaints, we have been using Resource Guru for about two years and are very happy with it.

It is very easy to plan time for creatives and strategists, and the UX is extremely smooth. I also like how I can add a lot of project and clients so the plannings are super organized.

Hi Damien Thanks for sharing your review of Resource Guru! You mentioned that there's no way to indicate when a job is ready, so I wondered if you were familiar with the difference between confirmed/unconfirmed bookings? If a booking is not yet ready to be confirmed, it can be added as a tentative booking, or added to the waiting list, or it could be pending approval. When bookings are ready to be confirmed, just change the tentative status, approve/decline it, or move it off the waiting list. Comentários: I love Resource Guru - it has made a huge difference for our company and keeping track of our resources!
Vantagens:
Visually appealing, Ease of Use and affordability.
Desvantagens:
We did not have a way to see projects that may have been accidentally deleted. We ended up building a program that would track this. As of 2024, Resource Guru has made this programming change to their system. I'm excited to see how this will work.

Limited reporting - needs to have a much more comprehensive set of reports

The best thing was always its simplicity. Resource Guru made it extremely easy to view and find out your schedule for the upcoming day, week, and months.
Desvantagens:
Nothing too problematic with Resource Guru but it would be nice to be able to easy see what the different colours meant for tasks. A sort of legend would be nice
Easy to track meetings, trainings and projects!

It's extremely easy to use and has tons of helpful features like organizing by client, organizing by team, putting peoples "specialties" and so much more!
Desvantagens:
Being able to attach files would be nice! This could be helpful when assigned a project or training to have materials you need handy. In the mean time, we are able to link an outside source for documents witch works just fine. So really no complaints.
