RecDesk works perfectly for our Department's needs!

Comentários: We have very pleased with the ease of this product, and our residents/ participants love the convenience and flexibility it has brought for registering for our department's programs and events.

Vantagens:

It is easy to train staff on how to use it, if we have a question it's answered in a very timely manner, there is no cost for upgrades, and we get emails or pop-ups announcing new modules or upgrades.

Desvantagens:

When we move a participant to a new program their forms disappear, and for new participants they sometimes find the category selection on their "view" homepage to be a challenge.

Comentários: The staff have been amazing. Our roll out was well thought out and easy.
They continue to be available when we need help!

Vantagens:

RecDesk is a complete system that handles membership, facilities, members data base, leagues, check ins and attendance. The staff at RecDesk is very responsive and helpful.

Desvantagens:

Some desired features are still in the works.

Vantagens:

Rec Desk provides a master calendar which is very helpful when planning programs. There are multiple programmers who offer programs in several buildings and outdoor locations.

Desvantagens:

I do not find the payment feature user friendly, especially when a participant has a credit.

There are several things about the software that I do like. Some of the Program/League features are a little easier than CivicPlus..

Desvantagens:

I really do NOT like that our patrons can't make partial payments on their rentals and/or sports fees if they are paying online at home or on the go.

Comentários: Overall, this has been a game changer for us and I am very pleased with the program. I really don't have anything negative to say as we love the program here. We also love that they are always evolving and updating things. Thank you!!

- Programs management and how easy it is to create them. Love the feature of "create one just like this" - saves us so much time! - I personally LOVE flex forms and we utilize this for many different programs. I higly recommend that people use Flex Forms. - The dashboard is a great tool when you want to see any changes quickly that have happened recently. I like to use this after a program is posted or after sharing the registrations to see popular times people sign up and how many.

Desvantagens:

- I wish we could also search by first name - It would also be nice to add photos for promotional purposes in the programs

It's so much easier than using our old system. It's more user friendly and it's easier to navigate through the system

Certain reports we were able to generate on our old system are not available or you need to run multiple reports to generate the same information. Made some requests for these changes.

Comentários: Our experience with RecDesk has been phenomenal. I can't imagine anyone having better customer service. The RecDesk team is always so patient even when I ask the dumbest questions. New enhancements are always rolling out, and they always take into consideration improvements you would like to see. A++

Vantagens:

The ease of online registration is the best! I can't imagine going back to pen and paper. It's so easy to get practice/game schedules to everyone. Rescheduling a rain out is literally the click of a button. Drafting teams is so easy along with immediately being able to give coaches a team roster.

Desvantagens:

Everything is pretty great although I wish there was a RecDesk app!

Comentários: Overall, I enjoy RecDesk. It makes it easy to track programming revenue, print daily reports, and create reservations.

Vantagens:

I like how easy RecDesk is to use and understand. The support team does a great job of providing training videos and answering questions quickly.

Desvantagens:

I do not like that for every transaction, users need to create an account to register for a program or reserve a site. Some community members find it to be a hassle, but it is easy to make an account.

RecDesk does it all

Comentários: RecDesk has helped us modernize from paper & pen, to online scheduling, invoicing and communications. Scheduling facilities is more efficient using RecDesk too.

Vantagens:

Blasting out email communications is so easy with RecDesk! We can email the entire community, or a specific roster. RecDesk is real time so if someone in the office makes a change, anyone logging in anywhere can see it immediately. Registrations on-line are very smooth and easy to set-up. The customer support is great. We have a wonderful go-to person. There are helpful tips and FAQs but we have a person to help us out.

Desvantagens:

As an administrator, I cannot think of anything that is truly a con.

RecDesk to the Rescue

Comentários: We are happy with the product! It ensures our classes are accessible and trackable for our participants and staff.

Vantagens:

It is cost effective and does everything that we need to keep our organization's programs organized on the front and back end.

Desvantagens:

Some of the backend is clunky. For instance, I can only search by last name as far as members and that sometimes is problematic.

So Far So Good!

Vantagens:

The set up has been very well supported and I could not be happier with the tutorial content and customer support. We have just started using REC DESK, and so far so good!

Desvantagens:

I would like better invoice information for the members. It would be better to see items on the invoice with the total amount owing. Also, it would be very good if the member could have an e-mail function, or way to send their invoice to someone else.

Wonderful for our city to organize parks and rec, a youth center, and an arts center all in one place!

Comentários: It has been great overall I have to say. We really needed a way to offer credit card sales both in person and online to our patrons and this has worked seamlessly.
Soon we are going to add a Sparxo account that will connect to our RecDesk for ticket sales. Now that the arts center is fully open we are ready to use this function by offering tickets online for shows.

Vantagens:

I appreciate the ability I have to schedule events in multiple facilities inside of the arts center, they can overlap, and being able to both print the calendar and export the events into different files is essential. The POS system has been essential for the arts center, we now use it for every event we hold to sell merchandise and concessions.

Desvantagens:

In the reports tab, I would really like to have a report for option for POS only. There are times I simply need a report of the POS sales without any of the other data. Sometimes it takes a while for me to locate certain items because there are so many tabs at the top. Perhaps narrowing down those top tabs into more subcategories would be more helpful for me personally.

Vantagens:

We love how the information gets transferred from registration to leagues to teams with ease. We built our T-Ball schedule in minutes rather than hours we spent on that in the past.

Desvantagens:

I wish when you attached a file to a registration there was an option to copy it to household documents.

With the numerous functions that we use daily, RecDesk helps us to process customer information in a timely manner.

I have not found anything that I do not like with RecDesk. Once you learn how to move from screen to screen, it makes access to the processing and storage of information easy to use.

Vantagens:

Efficiency, reduces calls and foot traffic in the office. Online reservations, registrations and memberships.

Desvantagens:

Building the program because it is a lot but we knew we would have to do that to make it specific to our organization.

Vantagens:

How beneficial having an online reservation portal is. RecDesk gives ease to staff and residents for several reasons - organizational purposes, online forms, payment options, and limitations to name a few. Especially since our organization is growing and keeping up with technology.

Desvantagens:

It would be beneficial for RecDesk to have the option of communicating with a user.

Comentários: It has been EXCELLENT from the sales people to the trainers to the customer support it has been fabulous. I have nothing but good things to say about the team there at RecDesk. They are very quick to respond and always a wealth of knowledge. It feels like we are their only client the attention that we get when we need it. I would and have recommended RecDesk to everyone that asks about what we use. It is a great product and the team you have behind it makes it even better.

Vantagens:

It is very easy to use. We have a lot of turnover in our front desk staff with them being high school students. It is very easy to train them on how to use the system and they catch on very quickly. We are also able to offer online payments for those that do not live in town. We also can allow for automatic renewal if a patron chooses to use that option. It is very easy to keep organized with all the programs we run and the numerous reports we can run helps us with budgeting at the end of the year. We can also evaluate our programs based on profit and the number of users in each program.

Desvantagens:

We use the system for camping reservations and it does not work exactly how we would like but it gets the job done.

Streamlined Registrations and payment collection

Comentários: As stated above, we have been able to increase the number and programs we offer to the community with the same amount of staff because of the time available that formerly was spent administering the programs.

Vantagens:

The scheduling, program registration, and payment collection features were most impactful. We are able to easily manage the programs, to the extent that we have been able to expand our offerings based on the ease of use and the sharp reduction in time needed by staff to facilitate registrations, etc.

Desvantagens:

I wish there were two features: 1. A Cost of Goods Sold feature in the inventory. 2. The ability to create ad-hoc reports

Comentários: Great! [sensitive content hidden] and the crew are a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and understanding of our needs. So far so good on our end!

Vantagens:

Support has been exemplary. Ease of use also ranks up there. Love the ‘wishlist’ feature. RecDesk certainly delivered on one of our wishes.

Desvantagens:

A work in progress is our drop in credit classes, doesn’t seem to track and monitor when punches get low. Facility parameters seem tricky.

Comentários: Our experience with RecDesk has been good from the beginning. The RecDesk staff will work with you to get everything set up. They guide you through the changes, etc, so you learn the system, instead of them doing it for you.

Vantagens:

The ease of use is probably its best feature! There is a slight learning curve as with anything new, but practice makes perfect. This is pretty much a standalone software for use. We use it primarily for league scheduling, facility rentals, and minimal program registrations and POS. We are still discovering hidden features. The Customer Service is great!

Desvantagens:

>No toggle box for Tax Exempt Status. We would love to see a toggle box for Tax Exempt Status on the member accounts, so that we would not have to remove sales tax for each transaction. >Trying to make cancel a reservation and credit the household account on a multi-reservation, multi-pament invoice can be a little tricky if you don't know which payment covers the reservation being cancelled. One other thing I find a disadvantage is that too many capabilities are lumped together under the user roles.

RecDesk is extremely helpful in bringing any Parks and Recreation department into the 21st-Century with a suite of services & tools that will help you come into the digital age. From online registrations, to great POS options, this program is an all-in-one solution to your managament woes!

Desvantagens:

While RecDesk will be there for you every step of the way to help you learn the in's and out's of their system, it might prove difficult for some to brave the learning curve the software asks for to fully take advantage of everyhting it has to offer.
